Summary: The Freelance Senior Account Manager will play a pivotal role in managing the Tobacco client's partnership activations within the Formula 1 ecosystem. This part-time position requires a highly organized individual with a deep understanding of Formula 1 and a proven track record in event and client management. The role involves strategic planning, event logistics, stakeholder management, and collaboration with internal teams. The ideal candidate will be proactive and capable of working both independently and as part of a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans for the client's presence at designated Formula 1 races and events.
- Manage all aspects of event logistics, including venue liaison, supplier management, budgeting, and on-site coordination.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for client stakeholders, providing regular updates and ensuring their needs are met.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key Formula 1 personnel and other relevant stakeholders.
- Monitor and analyse the effectiveness of the client's F1 activations, providing insights and recommendations.
- Manage project budgets and ensure cost-effective execution of all activities.
- Develop and deliver post-event reports, analysing key performance indicators.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks and challenges.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices within the Formula 1 landscape.
- Collaborate effectively with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of projects.
Key Skills:
- Demonstrable knowledge and understanding of Formula 1, including its commercial aspects.
- A genuine passion for Formula 1.
- Proven experience in a similar account management or event management role.
- 5+ years of experience in event management, focusing on large-scale events.
- Excellent client management skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing priorities.
- Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
