Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete replacement of a spray sheet roof at a data centre.
- Manage the project from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to the full programme provided by the Contracts Manager.
- Supervise and control all subcontract labour, including site inductions and health & safety compliance.
- Liaise with subcontractors and clients, chairing meetings and providing progress reports to the Contracts Manager and senior management team.
- Handle scaffolding packages, including phased erection and dismantling around the building.
- Check and compile snagging lists post-installation of PV panels for necessary repairs or patch works.
- Work Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work if access is restricted during the week.

Freelance Site Manager required for Midlands based roofing contractor working on a 32 week contract on a complete replacement of a spray sheet roof on site of an existing data centre for the clients installation of new PV panels. Project is circa £1.5-£2 million in value and they will be acting as principal contractor for this project, you will be involved from inception of project taking the full programme from the Contracts Manager to deliver to completion and handover to client. Role will involve the supervision, control and health & safety for all subcontract labour, site inductions, subcontractor and client liaison including the chairing of all meetings along with progress reports to Contracts Manager and senior management team.18 weeks of the project will also include scaffolding wrapping around the building so it will require someone that has got experience dealing with scaffolding packages, as associated works will involve phased erection/dismantling on areas of the building. You will also be required to check and compile snagging lists once PV panels have been installed for areas of works that may require repair/patch works if needed.Work will be Monday-Friday but weekends may also be required if not able to gain access during a normal working weekCSCS Card, SMSTS and First Aid certificates are a mandatory requirement, telehandler license preferable but not essential. Experience working for a roofing contractor will be essential.As this role is outside of IR35 both CIS and Ltd status will be accepted.
