Summary: Eudon Choi is seeking a Freelance Ready-to-Wear Designer to contribute to the development of seasonal collections in their London studio. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the full design process from initial concept, sketching to final samples.
- Create detailed technical drawings and tech packs to seal designs.
- Develop and present mood boards, fabric stories, and colour palettes aligned with the brand aesthetic.
- Conduct trend and market research to inform and inspire the design direction.
Key Skills:
- Strong design and technical drawing skills with a refined understanding of silhouette and proportion.
- Solid knowledge of garment construction, pattern-making, and finishing techniques.
- Demonstrated experience in fashion trend research, concept development, and collection building.
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other key design software.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
- Passionate about ready-to-wear design and detail-oriented with a keen eye for quality and craftsmanship.
- Prior experience working with a high-end or designer brand is strongly preferred.
- A strong portfolio showcasing relevant work in ready-to-wear design is required.
- Must have 3 years minimum experience in luxury womenswear brand within design team or similar independent design studio.
