Motive is a multi-disciplinary studio specialising in design, production and installation for creative retail and commercial interiors projects. Based in South London, we are a team of experienced project managers and designers with skill sets including brand experience, conceptual ideation, interior architecture and prop-making. We are a certified B Corp, committed to local and ethical production and working for a more sustainable, environmentally conscious industry. We work out of our creative studio in Elephant and Castle.Motive is looking for Junior, Mid Level and Senior Project Managers.Working as part of the Projects Team the Project Manager will work on a wide variety of projects to span shop fit-outs, pop-up shops, experiences, and workspaces. As a Project Manager at Motive you will play a crucial role overseeing projects from client briefing, through the design and production phases, to install and client handover. Your communication and attention to detail will contribute to the success of our projects, ensuring that our clients' visions are brought to life.Key responsibility examples listed below, experience level dependent.Project ManagementClient and account management, using effective communication, including in person and online meetings. Complete client questionnaires and audits. Issue project agreements and work with the Finance Manager to ensure each is signed and filed. Work with the Design Team and suppliers to research finishes, building methods and materials. Schedule project kick off meetings and wrap ups to deliver projects successfully and utilise key learnings to develop process. Work with the Head of Design and Projects Team to collate Project Development Costs and monitor the scope of the project if the brief is altered. Ensure the design team, workshop and subcontractors are provided with the information they need to aid the smooth running of the project. Collate and manage production budgets, including the review of supplier options and production cost options. Safeguarding forecasted profits for projects. Create and manage timelines and schedules from kick off to project completion. Attend and manage site surveys and installations with clients and contactors. Manage PO sheets and project reconciliations, keeping the Projects Director and Finance Manager up to date with any changes. Communication with the Finance Manager around client and supplier payment termsSupporting the Senior Project Manager and Projects Director with sections of larger projects and on-site presence. ComplianceEnsure that Motive H&S processes are followed whilst working on site, including filing and collation of H&S documentation. Issue, collate and analyse responses to the Bonafide Subcontractor Questionnaire and Contract, making sure insurance cover is in date and adequate. Motive Impact ReportingCollating information from suppliers to produce Motive Project Reports. Working with the Projects Team to keep supplier databases up to date within the impact hub. As well as researching new suppliers. Incorporate Motive Impact Reporting into project schedules and complete for presentation to clients. RequirementsWe are looking for a proactive and organised person with great communication skills who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. You will have worked previously as either a Project Coordinator, Project Manager or Senior Project Manager within the industry.
