Summary: This role is for a Freelance Marketing Assistant to support the marketing team for a duration of 3 months, primarily focused on two music festivals: Truck Festival and Tramlines Festival. Detailed Description From Employer:

This is a 3 month freelance role, to start ASAP. Hybrid working environment, with at least 2 days per week (Mondays and Thursdays) in the office in Central London. This role is also required to be based on-site for a minimum of 7 consecutive days during Truck Festival (all food, travel, accommodation for this period).

About the role:

We are looking for a freelance Marketing Assistant to join us for 3 months (including onsite at the festival), to support the marketing team in the lead up to and during the shows. You will be required to be in the office for at least 2 days per week on Mondays and Thursdays, with your time split 50 / 50 between the 2 shows (20 hours per week allocated to each show).

Key responsibilities for both shows:

  • Community management: Replying to comments, resharing on stories, replying to DMs and redirecting back to info@, Story posts that focus on engagement (i.e. share yours), taking initiative on fun / reactive content sharing, interacting with other brands / artists / shows on social channels, broadcast channel (if necessary)
  • Reporting and inputting data for weekly marketing meetings
  • Writing suggested copy for social posts on Plannable
  • Writing suggested copy for mailers on Mailchimp (with direction from Marketing Leads)
  • Scheduling social posts (working with Marketing Lead to develop social assets)
  • Providing weekly updates and clear communication around work load and progress on tasks
  • IG story Q&A’s – working with the bible to get accurate responses
  • Ad-hoc tasks for both shows:
  • Website updates (Wordpress)
  • Ideation for social ideas, considering the development of social channels look and feel
  • Administrative tasks including downloading ticket data, updating excel documents, tidying folders, reviewing documents, data input
  • Ensuring all content is relevant and inline with up to date social trends
  • App administration including information updates (set timings / performance names) and scheduling app pushes (closer to the event date)
  • Reviewing and organising content folders (and developing a full understanding of our available content)
  • Onboarding tasks for Marketing Migration
  • Supporting the Truck & TL Super Early Bird on sale
  • Truck Festival specific responsibilities (from 14th July - 4th August, including whilst on-site)
  • Social management – scheduling posts, adhering to the social posting plan
  • Reviewing and proofing all social posts and mailers
  • Community management – replying to comments on social channels, including Facebook, Instagram and TikTok
  • Content capturing

  • Maintaining organisation of content and folders as new content is created and developed
