Key Responsibilities:
- Managing social media accounts across LinkedIn, Meta, YouTube, and TikTok
- Creating high-quality content in Canva and to a strong visual standard
- Designing social graphics, event invites, LinkedIn headers, email creative, and wider digital content in Canva
- Writing captions, posts, and light copy across different brand tones
- Scheduling, monitoring, and managing social content calendars
- Supporting on marketing strategy and campaign thinking
- Managing day-to-day client communication and account handling
- Joining client meetings and representing Husk professionally
- Supporting on events, shoots, and wider marketing projects when needed
- Keeping projects moving and proactively chasing actions internally and externally
- Thinking beyond the brief and bringing ideas to the table
- Interpreting client needs and briefing work clearly to the wider specialist team
- Managing workflow and communication between clients and specialists to keep projects moving smoothly

This Role 3 Days Per Week | Freelance / Contract | Hybrid with Dorset + London travel when needed Must be able to work from Poole office This is a mid-level role. circa £40k pro rata We’re looking for a freelance Marketing Manager to join Husk. This is not a “post a few graphics and schedule some content” role. We need someone commercially aware, creatively sharp, organised under pressure and confident enough to sit in front of clients and represent the business properly. You’ll work across a mix of brands and sectors from private equity and property to logistics, IT, lifestyle, FMCG and hospitality supporting on everything from social content and creative execution through to client comms, events and campaign support. You need to be the sort of person who gets stuck in. If something needs doing, you do it. If you don’t know something, you go and find out. If a client hasn’t sent what’s needed, you chase it. If you see an opportunity to improve something, you speak up. We care far more about attitude, initiative and creative instinct than polished corporate CVs.
What you’ll be doing:
- Managing social media accounts across LinkedIn, Meta, Youtube and TikTok
- Creating high-quality content in Canva and to a strong visual standard. (We have artworkers and strategic designers but we need someone who can build out designs in canva once they have templates)

You do not need to be a graphic designer. You do need creative judgement, attention to detail, and the ability to produce good work at pace.
