Summary: The role is for an onsite IT & Network Support Engineer/Technician responsible for providing L1 and L2 support for IT and networking tasks on a freelance basis. The position involves desktop support, hardware installation, and troubleshooting various operating systems. Candidates will work on a contractual basis, with tasks assigned based on their availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide L1 and L2 IT/networking support, including desktop support and hardware installation.
- Assist with server/rack components, including hard disk drives and other hardware replacements.
- Deliver on-site assistance for routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Manage tickets dispatched according to area and availability, including weekdays and weekends.
- Utilize technical troubleshooting skills across various operating systems.
Key Skills:
- Expertise in System Desktop Administration and Customer Service.
- Knowledge of Incident/Change/Release management.
- Support experience for third-party applications on Windows platforms.
- Certification in IT Infrastructure Library and Windows Server Administration.
- Understanding of DHCP, DNS, IP addressing, and wireless LAN issues.
- Technical troubleshooting experience with iOS, Android, Windows, and Blackberry devices.
