The Role

This is a freelance contract position . You’ll be joining LoveMy Consultancy’s growing consultant network, working under our brand and with our clients—while still keeping your independence. We’re currently seeking consultants with expertise in:

  • Finance

  • Interim Part Time CEO/General Manager - Fashion
  • Mergers, Acquisitions & Business Sale
  • Startup Financing, Planning and Launching

Willing to offer Pro bono Coaching 1 hour every 2 weeks to young entrepreneurs that are starting out, only just got going, or have hit some challenges they cannot overcome alone without your experience ( part of building the LoveMy Brand - we give back to those in need) You must be willing, partuiclularly in the beginning to work with the MD to have work approved before submission and happy to alter work to fit what is wanted from LoveMy Ltd in terms of delivery If you’ve walked the road as an MD, CEO, or senior leader of an SME , we’d love to hear from you. Your broad experience could be the guiding light our clients need.

Your work will be varied, dynamic, and hands-on. Day to day, you might:

  • Build strategic roadmaps that accelerate growth.
  • Carry out practical, on-the-ground work to ensure clients succeed.
  • Act as both advisor and partner , helping leaders unlock their potential.

This isn’t ivory-tower consultancy. It’s sleeves-rolled-up, real-world impact.

What You’ll Need

Sharp analytical skills and a track record of solving problems that matter. Consulting or senior management experience with proven results. The ability to communicate with clarity, empathy, and conviction. Strong knowledge in your chosen area (Finance, Ops, Marketing, etc.). A degree in Business, Finance, or related field (preferred, not essential). Independence, adaptability, and confidence managing multiple clients. Professional insurances (indemnity, liability, legal) – easily sourced from £50/month. You’ll mostly work freelance from home , but you’ll also meet clients on-site and occasionally at our Chelmsford HQ. Remote consultants from Europe (fluent in English) are welcome.

What’s In It For You

Earnings: From £75-100 an hour (experience-dependent). Could be more for very specialist roles such as M&A. Flexibility: Keep your day job if you want—this can fit around it. No commitment on either side at this stage - this is additional work for additional income, interest, learning & fun! Support & Clients: We provide introductions, onboarding, and training. Fair Commission: LoveMy retains 20% on client work we bring you, or 15% for clients you source yourself. Platform & Brand: Operate under a trusted consultancy name with a consistent brand voice, while maintaining your independence. Be in it from the beginning - LoveMy Consultanc y is a new company and you have the opportunity to be in at the beginning and be part of its growth, which could lead to many other opportunities including establishing offices elsewhere in the UK such as Northern England, as well as Internationally. EMI Share Option Opportunity - We want to grow this brand, company, network and reputation to sell the business in 2030 - Go 2030! There will be an opportunity for a select few Consultants to gain share options in the business, so that they can benefit from the business sale. Scope for expansion - we plan to offer a lot more under the LoveMy brand than we have launched from startup including LoveMy Pitch (Investor Platform for Entrepreneurs & Angel Investors - new approach), LoveMy Coaching - Pro Bono Coaching Platform to connect Young Entrepreneurs with experienced coaches willing to give up 1 hour every 2 weeks, LoveMy Outsourcing - offering customers the ability to outsource core business functions that are not their specialist area i.e. Accounts, Payroll, IT, Recruitment, Websites & in some cases Marketing or elements of - allowing owners & senior leaders to focus on Product, Brand, Voice, Imagery, PR, Sales, Product Development, Market Research - their special source.
