Summary: The Freelance Azure/.NET Software Architect role requires a Finnish-speaking professional to architect cloud-native applications using Azure and modern .NET technologies. Key Responsibilities:

  • Architect end-to-end cloud-native applications using Azure services and modern .NET technologies (.NET 6/7+).
  • Define scalable, secure, and high-performance system architectures.
  • Work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to development teams on software engineering best practices.
  • Lead code and architecture reviews to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Drive adoption of CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC), and DevOps principles (Azure DevOps, Bicep/Terraform).

Key Skills:

  • 5+ years of software development experience, with 2+ years in an architecture role.
  • Strong expertise in Azure PaaS services (App Services, Functions, Service Bus, CosmosDB, etc.).
  • Deep experience in C# and the modern .NET stack (.NET Core, ASP.NET Core).
  • Solid understanding of microservices, event-driven architecture, and RESTful API design.
  • Experience with containerization (Docker, Azure Kubernetes Service).
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or Jenkins.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent Finnish speaking skills.
