The Opportunity
We are looking to engage experienced freelance auditors with a strong background in third-party management systems audits within the oil and gas sector.
Assignments will support a range of UK-based clients, predominantly across the Edinburgh/Aberdeen region, with work commencing from late Q2 onwards.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct third-party certification audits in line with ISO standards and Bureau Veritas procedures
- Deliver audits against ISO 9001 (Quality), ISO 14001 (Environmental) and ISO 45001 (Health & Safety)
- Plan, lead and report audits clearly and professionally
- Provide objective audit findings and value-adding insights to clients
- Maintain compliance with accreditation and Bureau Veritas requirements
Essential Requirements
- Proven experience conducting third-party audits
- Demonstrable auditing experience against ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001
- Strong oil and gas sector experience (upstream, downstream, engineering, services or related)
- Excellent communication and report-writing skills
- Ability to work independently and manage audit schedules
- Right to work in the UK
