Summary: The role of Fractional HR Consultant involves supporting an SME during a strategic growth phase by blending business-as-usual activities with strategic initiatives focused on culture, talent, and process mapping. The consultant will work closely with the executive team to devise growth and talent strategies while managing HR processes. This position requires flexibility in working days, initially supporting 2-3 days per week, with the potential for increased hours as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist and advise the organization during a period of strategic growth and process alignment.
- Blend business-as-usual HR activities with strategic initiatives around culture, talent, and process mapping.
- Support HR processes such as payroll and onboarding.
- Work with the executive and senior leadership teams to devise growth and talent strategies.
- Map internal processes as the organization grows.
- Be flexible in working days, initially supporting 2-3 days per week.

We are supporting an SME partner in finding a fractional HR consultant to join their growing organisation as they go through a period of strategic growth and process alignment. The team themselves are a well funded & recently backed Series A who are looking at a ramp-up during 2026 and need an experienced HR consultant to assist and advice them during this period. The role will blend BAU activities with strategic initiatives around culture, talent and process mapping. Supporting the business with HR processes such as payroll, on-boarding and on-boarding plans. As well as working with the exec and SLT to devise growth strategy, talent strategy and also map internal processes as the organisation grows. This role would initially support 2-3 days per week, but would ideally suit someone who is able and happy to ramp up and down as required. As an SME & start-up, an individual with a background in bottom-up processes and start-up culture would be beneficial but far from essential. Experience in a start-up environment is desirable. Whilst having an office in Central London, there may be requirements to travel to other UK offices on occasion.
