Summary: The role of Fractional Head of Finance involves providing strategic financial leadership to a mission-driven sustainability scale-up on a part-time basis. Key Responsibilities:
- Support the founder and leadership team with strategic financial planning and decision making
- Production of management packs for investors and management team
- Provide Management Information reporting
- Create management board packs, providing commentary and valuable insight
- Provide insightful P+L analysis
- Regular cash flow forecasting
- Manage and support AP / AR Assistant
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified (ACCA / ACA / CIMA / ICAS / ICAEW)
- Experience in a scale-ups environment
- Previous experience ideally in product or FMCG focused businesses
- NetSuite experience

Harmonic are proud to be exclusively partnering with an award-winning, mission-driven scale-up in the sustainability space, as they look to bring in a Fractional Head of Finance on a part-time basis. This fractional part time role will offer between 12 – 16 days per month, offered on a 3 month contract, sitting Outside IR35.
The Client: This purpose-led, founder-driven business is redefining what it means to be a product company with impact. Operating in the consumer goods and sustainability sector, the business has seen impressive growth in recent years, driven by an innovative and highly respected product offering. With global distribution partnerships and a passionate, agile team, the company is entering a key scale-up phase. The current team sits at around 45 people, and the business is supported by a loyal community of customers and partners who share its mission to reduce plastic waste. With turnover at circa £15 million, our client is a scale up with a strong culture centred around collaboration, driven by a genuine passion for sustainability and impact.
The Role: Reporting directly to the founder and working closely with the leadership team, this role will be commercial, strategic, and high-impact. While broad in nature, this position will require candidates comfortable with operating in a hands on, roll the sleeves up environment.

Day Rate: £350 - £450 (Outside IR35)
Location: Central London / Hybrid (2-3 days WFH)
