What You’ll Do We’re seeking a Fractional CFO to help lead the business through a successful Series A fundraise. This role is ideal for a strategic finance leader who can operate hands on and at pace.

  • Develop and own financial models and investor materials

Experience Required Proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in early-stage, VC backed startups. Ideally within BioTech, DeepTech, or CleanTech sectors Successfully led or supported a Series A (or later) raise, with hands on involvement in modelling, structuring, and investor engagement Deep understanding of biotech specific funding models, including grant funding, R&D tax credits, and non dilutive financing strategies Comfortable operating in pre-revenue environments, with experience managing long R&D timelines and milestone-based funding structures Strong financial modeling and scenario planning skills; capable of translating complex science and commercial potential into compelling financial narratives Experience preparing and presenting data rooms, investor decks, and board materials for technical and financial stakeholders Ability to advise on cap table management, runway extension, and financial operations setup as the company scales Strategic, analytical, and execution oriented.
