Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement FPGA-based system solutions, ensuring high performance and reliability
  • Create, update and manage technical documentation to support project delivery and compliance standards
  • Conduct detailed calculations, simulations and component optimisation to enhance system efficiency and functionality
  • Support the design and manufacturing of electronic systems

Key Skills:

  • EU citizenship
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar, relevant field)
  • Hands on FPGA development experience
  • Experience with FPGA toolchains (Xilinx Vivado, Intel Quartus, Mentor Graphics ModelSim)
  • Familiarity with embedded systems integration and hardware/software co-design
  • Strong knowledge of VHDL
  • Experience with C and Python
  • Previous experience within the Aerospace/Aviation sector
  • Understanding of signal processing, avionics, or satellite communication systems
  • Awareness of industry standards such as DO-254 or ECSS

iO Associates are currently partnered with a client who are looking for experienced FPGA Designers to join their team working on advanced aerospace and aviation projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to international programs in space, satellite and aviation technologies whilst collaborating with leading European organisations.

Length: 12 Months+
Rate: Negotiable depending on level of professional experience
