Summary: The FP&A Implementation Lead will oversee the implementation of new financial planning and analysis software within a national company, ensuring a smooth transition of existing processes. This role requires collaboration with finance colleagues and project management to define business requirements and deliver timelines. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience in financial planning cycles and software implementation. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the implementation of new FP&A software across the enterprise.
- Collaborate with finance colleagues to transition existing processes to the new software.
- Collect, document, and analyze business requirements to define statements of work.
- Supervise configuration and user acceptance testing with the project team.
- Coordinate with the Project Manager to ensure cohesive project delivery.
- Regularly update leadership and escalate issues as they arise.
Key Skills:
- Qualified ACA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant.
- Extensive experience managing financial planning cycles and leading finance projects.
- Robust understanding of financial processes and accounting standards.
- Experience in FP&A software implementation.
- Effective time management skills for coordinating workstreams.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of Oracle and Vena is advantageous.
- High standards of accuracy and precision, with the ability to work under tight deadlines.
