Summary: The Flight Simulation Software Engineers will engage in various software technical areas, including sound systems, systems simulation, and visual systems. The role demands full lifecycle design, coding, and testing capabilities, requiring proficiency in C/C++ and a solid understanding of systems engineering principles. Candidates should possess strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team. A relevant engineering degree or equivalent experience in the aviation/aerospace industry is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engage in full lifecycle design, coding, and testing of software systems.
- Work on sound systems, systems simulation, environment systems simulation, visual systems, and vendor software.
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team.
- Demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision.
- Communicate effectively through verbal, presentation, and written skills.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in C/C++ programming.
- Understanding of the Systems Engineering V-model and/or Software Development Lifecycle.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a can-do attitude.
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience in aviation/aerospace.
- Experience with safety-critical systems in aerospace or related industries.
- Familiarity with web technologies (Javascript, HTML).
- Knowledge of C#, Python programming, and Windows application development using Visual Studio.
- Understanding of ARINC, AFDX, and/or CAN bus protocols.
- Experience with Atlassian toolset (Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo).

Roles require Full Lifecycle Design, Code & Test Software Engineers with proven ability in• C/C++ programming skills• A good practical understanding of the Systems Engineering V-model and/or the Software Development Lifecycle• An individual with drive, enthusiasm and can-do attitude coupled with the ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team• Demonstrate the ability to work under minimal supervision• Strong verbal, presentation, written communication and inter-personal skills• An appropriate engineering degree or equivalent (with mathematics, science or engineering) or proven engineering experience in the aviation/aerospace industry.
