Summary: The Fleet Paint Technician Consultant role involves working onsite in Surrey for a luxury high-end client, focusing on maintaining and repairing fleet vehicles. Key Responsibilities:
- Work with client press fleet management team to maintain the standards of the fleet vehicles.
- Perform repairs ranging from detailing and smart spot repairs to complete rebuild resprays.
- Utilize provided spray booth and tools based on client site.
- Complete paint repairs unsupervised, demonstrating trade experience.
- Manage own workload planning and paint/consumable accounts against set budgets.
- Handle quotes, estimates, and job hours reporting.
- Ensure safe working practices and correct use of PPE at all times.
Key Skills:
- Previous experience with client or other premium brands paint essential.
- Qualified in paint spraying and repair of vehicles.
- Skilled in panel preparation, filler work, spray painting, and polishing.
- Understanding of panel surface quality requirements affecting final paint finish.
- Ability to identify resolutions for product-related issues and achieve quality targets.
- Implementation of safe working practices.

They are looking for a Fleet Paint Technician Consultant to join their team working 5 days onsite
Job Description
- Requirement to work with client press fleet management team to maintain the standards of the fleet vehicles.
- Repairs will vary from detailing, smart spot repairs to uplift complete rebuild resprays.
- Spray booth and tools will be provided based on client site
- Must be fully trained, qualified and have demonstrated trade experience to complete paint repairs unsupervised
- Successful applicant will be expected to manage own workload planning and manage paint/ consumable accounts against set budgets.
- Manage quotes, estimates and job hours reporting.
- Ensure safe working practices at all times and the correct use of PPE.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience with client or other premium brands paint essential
- Qualified in paint spraying and repair of vehicles
- The successful applicant would ideally be skilled in panel preparation, filler work, spray painting and polishing.
- Understanding of panel surface quality requirements that could affect final paint finish.
