Key Responsibilities:

- Engage with Transport managers to chair compliance reviews and resolve issues.
- Ensure transport compliance in line with O’ Licence requirements through audits.
- Maintain effective relationships with colleagues in other functions.

How you’ll power our business as an Interim Fleet Compliance Manager
As an Interim Fleet Compliance Manager, you will report into the Head of Fleet and will hold the responsibility for co-ordinating and championing fleet compliance. The role is to cover a secondment to another department but will offer permanently following a successful probation and 12 months fixed term. You will require regular travel to depots and therefore will need to be comfortable with nights away from home, although given the freedom to manage their own diary in order to meet business need.

Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Undertake audits of site compliance on a risk rating basis (Role holder to complete site Risk ratings based on audit findings)
- To support the Fleet team in upholding FORS compliance for FloGas, ensuring the audits are scheduled and accreditation is upheld.
- To produce weekly/monthly compliance reporting to GMs and HoF for board reporting.
- To engage with all Transport managers named on the Operators Licence, chairing compliance reviews and championing and resolving actions to address any issues raised.
- To ensure transport compliance in line with O’ Licence requirements and undertakings, through audit and matrix management of site operations, collating audit information from colleagues and publishing as relevant.
- Ensuring effective relationships are maintained between the department and colleagues in other functions (including Audit, HSEQ, Operations, Finance)

- National/International CPC holder
- Experience of working successfully in a fleet or transport role
- Sound understanding of transport legislation, compliance and regulatory issues
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Excellent stakeholder management skills
- Proactive, self-starter
- Comfortable with pace and fluidity
- Ability to coach colleagues of different levels.
