Summary: The Fire Safety Advisor role involves providing specialist fire safety advice and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation for a large public sector organization in the South East. The position is temporary, lasting six months with a strong possibility of extension, and requires immediate availability. The successful candidate will be part of a Health & Safety Team, focusing on fire safety services across various sites.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for providing specialist fire safety advice to the organisation on all fire safety matters relating to people & premises
- Ensure compliance with relevant Legislation, Regulation, Code of Practice & Technical Guidance
- Developing & delivering an extensive programme of general and specialist Fire Safety Training to a wide audience base and providing specialist fire safety advice for teams, project planning, design, construction & commissioning teams
- Carry out risk assessments across the sites
Key Skills:
- Relevant demonstratable experience in Fire Safety auditing and compliance
- Previous experience of working within public buildings would be advantageous
- Relevant industry qualification (IFE, FPA, FIA, BRE or similar in fire detection)

We are currently recruiting for a temporary Fire Safety Advisor to join a large Public Sector organisation in the South East for a 6 month assignment (with a strong possibility of extension). The assignment can start immediately.
Role:
The role forms part of a busy Health & Safety Team, who provide Fire Safety and Health & Safety services to the organisation’s sites, duties will include;
