The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on projects in a wide range of sectors including commercial, industrial, nuclear, and many more.Fire Engineer RequirementsDegree in Engineering (Fire, Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Structural, or similar)Experience of providing fire safety advice in the nuclear sector and in a conventional environmentExperience of implementing the principle of fire science to real projectsExperience of management of fire safety on construction sitesFull UK Driving LicenseComputer Literate E.g. Blue Beam, Microsoft, CAD, Smoke modelling softwareExcellent communication skills, written and verbalAbility to travel within UK and OverseasKnowledge of legislation, regulations, national and international standardsKnowledge of Fire Water Network and Fire water pumping systems including fire water pumps, storage tanks etc.NEBOSH Fire Certificate (Desirable)Fire Engineer DutiesDevelop fire strategies and performance-based designs, supported by fire and evacuation modelling, risk analysis and cost benefit analysisLiaise with clients and internal stakeholdersProduce fire safety engineering reportsReview design information such as drawings and documentsEnsure work is compliant with client expectations and contractual obligationsResolve fire engineering concerns by applying accepted principles, codes, and standardsSupport Junior Members Of StaffBenefitsPensionQualifications paid E,g.
