Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct fire inspections of various building types including stations and depots.
- Perform inspections to identify and document fire assets, defects, and areas requiring further investigation.
- Produce detailed survey reports to share with the CAD team for new drawings and remedial actions.
- Create drawing mark-ups to be shared with the CAD team.
- Ensure inspections comply with the scope of works and relevant guidelines.
- Verify data integrity by adhering to established quality assurance practices.
- Collaborate with project teams, including project managers and quality assurance managers, for seamless execution of surveys.
- Contribute to periodic dashboards summarising progress, findings, and KPIs.
- Report any identified defects posing safety, security, or operational risks.
- Provide guidance and coordination to survey teams as required.
- Check and validate fire compliance drawings.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of Fire Engineering or relevant experience.
- Proven experience in fire engineering with a focus on data collection in complex environments.
- Proficient in conducting fire asset and validation surveys.
- Able to check and verify Fire Compliance Plans and Building Layout Drawings.
- Computer literate and familiar with MS Office.
- Strong analytical and reporting abilities.
- Good communication skills for liaising with multidisciplinary teams and clients.
- Understanding of designing and implementing fire safety measures.
- Capability of conducting risk assessments and advising on construction standards.
- Experience collaborating with architects, engineers, contractors, and building owners.
