As Tier 2 and 3 Registered Fire Risk Assessors, we specialise in delivering robust, compliant, and practical fire safety solutions with a strong foundation in technical fire engineering and regulatory knowledge. We offer services such as Fire Engineers Reports, Fire Risk Assessments (type 1-4), Fire Door Surveys, Fire Stopping assessments, and Fire Strategy designs. Building Safety case reports and preparation, we are committed to providing excellent client-focused service. Our new office in Central London is key to our success and growth.

Role Description Due to continued growth and an increasing workload, we are seeking to expand our team with the appointment of a fire consultant This will initially be a contract role primarily covering the London are with flexibility for remote working where appropriate, mainly in Manchester and Bristol. The Fire Consultant will be responsible for delivering a range of fire safety services, including:

• Conducting fire risk assessments (commercial and residential)
• Undertaking fire door inspections and surveys
• Completing fire stopping inspections and compartmentation reviews
• Assisting Prepare fire strategy reports, technical mark-ups, and compliance documentation

The role will also involve:

• Providing competent advice on fire safety legislation and relevant British Standards
• Producing clear, detailed technical reports for clients and enforcement authorities
• Attending site visits to assess compliance and remedial requirements
• Working closely with clients to develop practical, compliant fire safety solutions
• Collaborating with the wider fire safety team to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery

This position would suit a proactive fire safety professional with strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and experience working across multiple project types.

Qualifications Proficiency with Fire Risk Assessments (type 1-4) and carrying out FRA reviews Experience conducting Fire Door Surveys and Fire Stopping/Compartmentation surveys (invasive and non-invasive) Strong understanding of fire safety regulations, standards, and compliance requirements Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder engagement skills Relevant qualifications in fire risk assessment and FDIS Membership in professional bodies (or working towards) the Institute of Fire Safety Managers or the Institution of Fire Engineers would be desirable Ability to work both independently and collaboratively, with a customer-centered approach
