Summary: The Financial Systems Analyst role involves supporting and optimizing a critical financial platform within a leading law firm on an initial 3-month contract. The position requires collaboration with Finance, IT, and stakeholders to ensure the stability and performance of financial systems. The ideal candidate will have proven experience with Aderant and strong SQL skills, particularly within the legal sector. Key Responsibilities:
- Support, configure, report, and optimize the firm’s financial systems.
- Ensure stability, accuracy, and performance across finance operations.
- Provide BAU support and project-based enhancements in collaboration with Finance, IT, and key stakeholders.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience with Aderant (essential).
- Strong SQL skills – writing queries, troubleshooting, reporting, and data analysis.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience working within law firms.
- Strong understanding of legal finance processes (billing, WIP, disbursements, general ledger, etc.).
- Experience supporting finance users and resolving system issues.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced professional services environment.
- Experience with system upgrades or migrations (desirable).
- Exposure to integrations between Aderant and other business systems (desirable).
- Strong stakeholder communication skills (desirable).

Chapman Tate Associates is partnering with a leading law firm to appoint an experienced Financial Systems Analyst on an initial 3-month contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for a systems specialist with strong legal sector experience to play a key role in supporting and optimising a critical financial platform and working on key projects in this space.
The Role
You will be responsible for the support, configuration, reporting, and optimisation of the firm’s financial systems, ensuring stability, accuracy, and performance across finance operations.
Working closely with Finance, IT, and key stakeholders, you’ll provide both BAU support and project-based enhancements.
