Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, develop, and manage the reporting team, driving performance and engagement
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and regulatory reporting
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS 4, HGB, UK GAAP, and Solvency UK/II requirements
  • Deliver analysis of results against plan and forecast, addressing key queries
  • Maintain strong risk management and control frameworks
  • Respond to regulatory changes and ensure ongoing compliance
  • Build effective relationships across Finance, Actuarial, and external stakeholders
  • Support capital modelling and related reporting

Key Skills:

  • ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified with significant post-qualified experience
  • Background in financial services, ideally insurance
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • In-depth knowledge of regulatory and accounting frameworks
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proactive, detail-focused, and confident challenging the status quo

We're looking for an experienced finance leader to manage a high-performing team delivering accurate and timely financial and regulatory reporting. You'll provide insights, ensure compliance, and report to senior stakeholders including the Board, Audit Committee, and regulators.
