Summary: The Financial Reporting Analyst role at a leading International Technology company involves managing Group Financial Systems and providing financial reporting and analysis for the EMEA region. The position requires collaboration with key financial stakeholders and supports the financial reporting processes, including monthly and year-end closes. The analyst will also drive improvements in business intelligence and assist with the integration of newly acquired companies. This is a 12-month maternity cover position based in Guildford, Surrey.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as Finance Business Partner to key financial stakeholders
- Support the management of the company financial reporting systems
- Develop the financial reporting and analysis function and build strong relationships with all EMEA entities
- Support with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial close
- Assist with the monthly consolidation of financial results and reporting on any variances to budget and forecast
- Drive improvements in Business Intelligence and Dashboard reports utilizing Power BI
- Assist EMEA entities to complete financial reporting (P&L and Balance Sheet) in accordance with IFRS
- Perform regular financial reviews
- Integrate newly acquired companies into the EMEA Region
- Present Financial Results and analysis at Management Meetings and assist with queries
Key Skills:
- Graduate calibre and ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Proven experience with IFRS
- Group consolidated accounting or reporting experience
- Experience of a financial consolidation and reporting system, ideally HFM
- A proven Finance Business partner with excellent relationship building skills
