Summary: The role of Financial Reporting Accountant involves working with a well-known company near Reading, focusing on financial reporting, controls, and compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Producing statutory and consolidated financial reports
- Providing sound technical expertise on all accounting, VAT, and tax matters
- Managing monthly balance sheet reviews while enhancing controls and processes
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns, corporation tax declarations, and other statutory submissions
- Acting as the main point of contact for internal and external auditors, ensuring all audit requirements are met
- Producing short and long-term cash flow forecasts
