Role
Our client is looking for an immediate interim Financial Analyst to assist them for 3-6 months. You will be responsible for following duties:
- Produce weekly Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable reporting.
- Maintain reports covering outstanding customer invoices, supplier balances and working capital performance.
- Attend weekly working capital review calls with Business Units.
- Review and discuss key overdue customer invoices and supplier payment positions with stakeholders.
- Record actions, track progress and ensure agreed actions are followed through to completion.
- Escalate issues, risks and delays where appropriate.
- Support the preparation of weekly and monthly cash reporting.
- Maintain cash, receivables and payables reporting packs.
- Ensure data used in reporting is complete, accurate and consistent.
- Investigate and explain significant movements in reported balances.
- Provide concise commentary highlighting key issues, risks and opportunities.
- Refresh and maintain existing Excel-based reporting models.
- Work with and analyse operational and financial datasets using Excel.
- Build and maintain Pivot Table and lookup-based analysis.
- Reconcile reports back to source systems and bank data.
- Support investigation of data issues and work with stakeholders to improve reporting quality.
- Produce accurate and timely management information.
- Work closely with Business Unit finance teams, Treasury and Group Finance.
- Follow up outstanding actions and information requests.
- Challenge incomplete, inconsistent or unusual data where appropriate.
- Build effective working relationships across the business.
- Clearly communicate reporting outputs, issues and required actions.
- Support ongoing improvements to reporting and working capital management processes.
- Identify practical opportunities to improve reporting quality, efficiency and controls.
- Contribute ideas to improve visibility of cash, receivables and payables performance.
Profile
The successful interim Financial Analyst will have 3+ years experience.
You must be immediate or 1 weeks notice to be considered for this role.
Salary & Benefits: This role is paying between £200-£250 per day Umbrella (DOE)
