Summary: The Financial Crime Analyst role is a 6-month fixed-term contract based in central Edinburgh, requiring candidates to engage in financial crime investigations and alert management to potential risks.   • Working in a regulated environment, honing your skills as you go and acting as a proactive asset within a supportive function with a great pipeline of work to tackle from the get-go

  • Background in a Financial Crime domain (ideally Screening but open to people crossing over from other FinCrime areas)
  • Proven interpersonal skills, and ability to act as an ambassador for the company in client-facing scenarios

  • Adapt to changes and help to identify possible areas for improvement across the team/processes/etc.

*** 4 Days per Week in Central Edinburgh office, 1 day WFH ***

Lorien's client - a central Edinburgh based and well-known organisation with a brand-new office currently expanding their Financial Crime function and seeing a growing pipeline of new business as we speak - is on the lookout for new talent in the shape of Financial Crime Analysts / FinCrime Specialists from a variety of backgrounds such as Screening, Sanctions, PEP and other risk indicators to bolster their squad for a 6-month Fixed Term contract.
