Financial Controller

INTERIM Financial Controller 6 Month Contract SME, High growth Tech scale-up London | Hybrid working

Eutopia Search are working with a high-growth Tech scale-up that is building something genuinely exciting and is looking for an exceptional Financial Controller to join during a pivotal phase of growth.

This isn't a role where you'll simply maintain existing processes – you'll build the finance function for the next stage of the business. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll create scalable financial operations, improve controls, implement systems, and provide the commercial insight needed to support rapid expansion.

The role:

• Own monthly management accounts, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting
• Lead operational finance, including AP, AR, payroll, VAT and cash management
• Design and implement scalable finance processes, controls and reporting
• Manage year-end audit and statutory reporting
• Partner with stakeholders across the business to support strategic decision-making
• Play a key role in wider operational projects, systems implementation and continuous improvement

We're looking for someone who:

• ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified
• Has strong management accounting and financial reporting experience
• Enjoys building processes rather than inheriting them
• Thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments
• Is commercially minded, hands-on and proactive
• Has experience within a scaling business, technology, SaaS, AI or another fast-growth environment (highly desirable)
