Summary: The Financial Consultant role is focused on leading the finance aspects of a newly established business undergoing transformation after an acquisition. The position requires a senior finance leader to build finance systems and processes from scratch, with a clear path to CFO. The consultant will work closely with the CFO to manage the finance separation and integration program. This role is ideal for an ambitious finance professional who thrives in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance separation and manage a smooth transition
- Build all finance systems, processes and reporting from the ground up
- Oversee amalgamation of existing systems and deliver the new group-wide Sage platform
- Develop the full MIS suite including Power BI dashboards and board reporting
- Own finance controls, governance, budgeting, forecasting and cash management
Key Skills:
- Background as Finance Director / Group FC / Group FD
- Experience in carve-outs, integrations or major finance transformations
- Strong systems experience (Sage/Sage 200, ERP implementation, system setup)
- Proven ability in building MIS, reporting, dashboards (Power BI essential)
- Confident partnering with senior leadership, investors and multiple sites

We're supporting a newly carved out business undergoing a major transformation following an acquisition. The business is looking for a hands-on senior finance leader who can take ownership of the carve-out and build the finance environment from scratch.
This is a unique opportunity for an ambitious finance professional who thrives in complexity, enjoys building, and wants a clear succession path to CFO.
You'll work directly with the CFO to lead the end-to-end finance elements of the carve-out and integration programme.
