On behalf of National Church Institute (NCI), we are looking for a Financial Change and Transformation Manager (Inside IR35) for a 8-10 Month contract based in Westminster (2 days per week on site).

The National Church Institutions are currently undertaking a Finance Transformation Programme which is aiming to help the NCIs to transform our people, processes, data and technology to transform our Finance services so that they are high quality, resilient and fit-for-the-future. Our ambition is to enable excellence in financial decision-making so that the NCIs can better serve, support, encourage and enable the work and mission of the Church of England.
Having recently delivered solutions around pension finance automation and grant management, the major project which remains in flight is our ‘Transforming our Finance Service’ (TFS) project which will replace our legacy SAP system with Microsoft Dynamics D365 F&O, and will deliver a transformation of the way teams work with financial data and processes inside and outside of the Finance function.
The successful delivery of this project and its associated changes will be dependent on the effectiveness of the change management approach – we are seeking an experienced change management professional who can help to lead this critical aspect of the project.
The purpose of this role is to lead the Change Management workstream for the Finance Transformation Programme, with an expected focus on the ‘Transforming our Finance Service’ project. You will play a pivotal role in how the Programme will manage and influence culture change across the NCIs in order to achieve successful adoption of new ways of working, systems knowledge and capability, and embed mechanisms to underpin a continuous improvement approach in future.
Essential Knowledge/Experience
Experience of working on major change or transformation programmes, involving large ERP / Finance systems related change
Experience gained from and demonstrable delivery of working as a change manager for a large organisation, in a complex multi-stakeholder environment
Experience of working in a charity / not-for-profit / values-based organisation cultural context
Experience of project/programme management
Experience of leading change conversations with senior management
Prosci Practitioner or other recognised change qualification
