Summary: The role of Finance Analyst involves supporting financial reporting and forecasting within a global engineering company's Manufacturing Business Unit in Derby. This 12-month contract position requires collaboration with senior finance and business teams, focusing on decision-making and performance analysis. Key Responsibilities:

• Support financial reporting, forecasting, and business review processes
• Consolidate actuals & forecasts and prepare MBU inventory provision data
• Lead the MBU forecasting process and provide financial insights
• Partner with business teams to support decision-making and performance analysis
• Assist in governance, planning models, and headcount reviews

Key Skills:

• +3 years experience as a Finance Analyst with strong business partnering skills
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in reporting and forecasting
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with SAP & Hyperion (desirable)
• Qualified in AAT, Chartered, or Management Accounting (preferred)
• Background in manufacturing and standard costing is a plus
