Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal stakeholders to compile accurate forecasting data
  • Contribute to the preparation and consolidation of budgets
  • Take on ad hoc requests to support improvements in reporting processes and data integrity using available financial systems and tools

Key Skills:

  • Available immediately or at short notice
  • Working towards a recognised accounting qualification (CIMA/ACCA), or already AAT qualified and keen to progress
  • Familiarity with up-to-date accounting standards
  • Previous experience within a corporate, professional services, or partnership-based finance team is advantageous
  • Exposure to ERP systems and reporting software like Jet or Power Pivot would be highly beneficial
  • Strong numerical accuracy, with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information effectively
  • Good working knowledge of Excel and the wider MS Office suite
  • A collaborative approach, with confidence to work independently when required

Cobalt is supporting a respected property organisation with the search for a Part Qualified FP&A Analyst to join their finance function on a fixed-term basis. This opportunity has arisen as part of a strategic initiative to enhance the insight and efficiency delivered by the finance team. The role will involve a mix of monthly reporting tasks, budgeting and forecasting, and performance analysis. It’s a hybrid position based in Peterborough and offers the chance to play a key role in supporting financial decision-making.
