Summary: The Financial Analyst role focuses on recording transactions related to front office bank and treasury operations, ensuring accuracy in financial records using SAP and other accounting systems. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, Review and Reconcile Bank Statements and ensure GL integrity across the various legal entities.
  • Initiate daily electronic banking downloads to supply electronic bank statements for specified companies.
  • Process and completion of daily export and upload electronic banking data to SAP financial system by agreed deadlines for analysis by other finance sections.
  • Manage associated activities with the SAP environment, including bank statement loading, posting of entries.
  • Run end of day activity for treasury, update global cash position, cash pool management and create manual payments when required.
  • Contribute to the cash position monitoring.
  • Contribute to a range of monthly/weekly processes.
  • Various other general ledger work as required.

Key Skills:

  • 2 – 3 year’s experience in an accounting environment an advantage but not essential.
  • HNC/HND level accounting qualification.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to challenge and improve processes and appreciate impact on business and customers.
  • IT and Computer literate.

The main purpose of this role is to record in our financial records the transactions of the front office bank and treasury operations, ensuring the integrity and clarity of the transactions in SAP and any other appropriate financial accounting system.The role requires the provision of ad-hoc support across other accounting and reporting activities as necessary.
