Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Senior Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for central and shared service areas.
- Conduct detailed cost analysis, identify optimisation opportunities, and challenge expenditure where appropriate.
- Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for shared services, linking operational performance to financial outcomes.
- Assist with the preparation of business cases for strategic initiatives, including financial modelling and investment analysis.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of FP&A processes, systems, and reporting capabilities.
- Provide hands-on data analysis and support in resolving system or reporting limitations.
Key Skills:
- Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or be part-qualified.
- Experience in cost management within complex or multi-entity organisations.
- Advanced Excel and strong financial modelling skills.
- Working knowledge of ERP and FP&A systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Anaplan, Adaptive).
- Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI) and data visualisation techniques.
- Experience in the insurance industry or a related financial services environment.
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to partner effectively with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
