Summary: The role of Interim Finance Analyst involves joining a leading media brand's finance team in Hammersmith, focusing on financial accuracy and actionable insights. Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing quarter-end close files with comparative analysis (prior forecast, R&O)
- Conducting variance analysis across key cost lines and maintaining a live current-quarter view
- Coordinating variance commentary with finance stakeholders across multiple territories
- Rolling forward forecast models and actualising prior quarter results
- Producing monthly retail subscription revenue reports versus forecast, with market-level variance analysis
- Uploading forecasts into financial systems and reconciling to P&L models
- Supporting the Finance Manager with ad-hoc analysis and reporting
Key Skills:
- Solid FP&A experience, ideally gained within the media/entertainment sector
- Familiarity with SAP/BW and Cognos, alongside advanced Excel skills
- A sharp eye for detail and a structured, analytical approach
- Confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels
- Experience building and managing reporting templates and consolidations
- Background supporting operational or commercial teams is a plus

We're partnering with a globally recognised blue chip, market-leading brand to find a talented Finance Analyst with a media background to join their Finance team. Please note the role is based in Hammersmith
Pay rate is circa £300pd via an Umbrella Company (£60k salary equivalent)
The ideal person will be on short notice (1-2 weeks maximum)
This is a great opportunity to take ownership of meaningful financial work, from forecast cycles and quarter-end close to territory-level reporting across EMEA.
