Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, manipulate, and analyse large datasets across logistics, manufacturing, sales, and commercial teams
- Build and maintain Excel-based reports to identify variances, discrepancies, and performance trends
- Partner with operational stakeholders to explain results, highlight key spend areas, and support decision-making
- Support the FP&A team with ad-hoc analysis, data integrity, and performance tracking
- Contribute to the development and improvement of financial reporting processes
- Identify and implement process improvements and streamlining opportunities across operational finance workflows
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or Operational Finance professional within FMCG, retail, or manufacturing
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, SUMIFS, data modelling) and strong data manipulation ability
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to explain complex data to non-finance stakeholders
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Proactive, adaptable, and comfortable working with large datasets and multiple systems

The company operates a complex, fast-paced operation across logistics, manufacturing, sales, and commercial functions and is looking for an experienced Operational Finance Analyst to support performance analysis and financial insight during a busy trading period. This is a hands-on role requiring advanced Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to turn operational data into meaningful insight. You’ll play a key part in supporting both the operational and FP&A teams to drive accuracy, efficiency, and financial understanding across the business.
