Key Responsibilities:

• Forecast the budget requirements for current and future years for Business Areas within the Organisation.
• Monitor spend against forecast and provide variance analysis and analytical reviews.
• Preparation and profiling of salary and expenditure forecasts.
• Provision of financial advice, guidance and support to business areas.
• Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures and controls.
• Preparation of monthly financial position report, analysis of general ledger, completion of journals, accruals and prepayments.

Key Skills:

• Fully qualified Accountant with 2 years post qualification experience.
• Strong analytical skills.
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Financial experience in financial planning/budgeting and management accounting and cost analysis (desirable).
• Public sector finance experience (desirable).
