Summary: The Financial Analyst role based in Chester involves overseeing the month-end close process, preparing financial forecasts, and presenting financials to senior leadership. Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor month end close process, review month end P&L and commentary
  • Oversight of the accruals and expense allocation (e.g. PWC audit expense, VAT allocation etc)
  • Prepare or/ and review forecasting
  • Prepare and present financials in senior leadership meetings on regular and ad hoc basis
  • Manage cost centre and hierarchy maintenance
  • Collaborate with wider FP&A team to drive process efficiency and reporting standardization
  • Ad hoc work including but not limit to cost saving analysis, cooperate internal and external audit reviews

Key Skills:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA qualified)
  • FP&A experience
  • Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for details
  • Good interpersonal skills and communication skills both verbal and written, able to deliver financial information and provide appropriate reporting to senior management
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Organised, details oriented, manage multiple requests and deliverables
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of Tableau or/ and Alteryx is preferred
