Financial Accounting & Reporting Manager6 month FTCLondon / HybridStart date: ASAPSalary: 80 -90,000 A consumer service business are looking for an interim financial accounting and reporting manager on a 6 month contract.The role is responsible for all the accounting for the UK entity and includes ownership of daily and monthly financial accounting processes, maintenance of financial control and financial reporting, being a business partner to functional heads and managing the annual audit process.As the interim financial accounting and reporting manager you will be responsible for maintaining complete controls over all balance sheet and P&L account and ensuring all ledgers and financial accounts are maintained to a high standard and reconciled. You will assist with the annual statutory audit process for the company providing information and analysis as required to the auditors including assisting with group consolidation, inter-company transactions and bringing together the financial accounting processes of the Group and business partner with the wider businessThis role presents a fantastic development opportunity for someone who is looking to get a broad exposure to all financial processing duties in a medium sized business and to become a valued business partner.The role requires a qualified accountant, preferably ACA/CAANZ/ACCA qualified with 4 years strong experience in similar Financial Accounting roles with an emphasis on financial control, general ledger processing, month end and year end reporting and accounting process improvement and good knowledge of financial accounting principles and practices (particularly FRS 102 and UK GAAP). Knowledge of SAGE accounting software is an advantage.
