- Support with strengthening and embedding internal controls
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred — QBE applicants welcomed with relevant experience
- Prior experience in manufacturing or industrial sectors beneficial but not essential
- Hands-on, proactive approach with the ability to hit the ground running

We’re currently supporting a leading manufacturing business based in Wolverhampton in their search for a Financial Accountant to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract . This role is a backfill for a key team member who has been seconded to a major ERP implementation project.
We’re ideally looking for a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) , but we are also open to experienced QBE applicants with a strong technical background in financial accounting.
The Role
As Financial Accountant, you’ll take ownership of a range of technical accounting tasks, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider finance team to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Group month-end reporting
- Treasury management and cash forecasting
- Intercompany transactions and reconciliations
- Foreign exchange (FX) accounting
- Transfer pricing compliance
- Fixed asset accounting
- R&D spend tracking and tax credit claims
- Support with strengthening and embedding internal controls
