  • Intermediate level Excel skills

Sheridan Maine are excited to be partnering with an established organisation in the Southampton area who are currently recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join their head office accounts department. This is great opportunity to join a leading business on a long term contract basis with the possibility for future career progression!

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Performing group balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparing financial statements
  • Liaising with external auditors
  • Ensuring the accurate delivery of month end close
  • Reviewing accounting procedures and identifying areas of improvements
  • Managing stakeholders and assisting with queries
  • Producing group financial reporting

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:

  • Part qualified or qualified Accountant ( ACCA / CIMA / ACA / AAT )
  • Good technical accounting knowledge
  • Highly organised with the ability to meet deadlines
  • Prior experience of ERPs eg Oracle, SAP
  • Intermediate level Excel skills
