Summary: The role of Interim Senior Accountant involves managing statutory and management accounting tasks within a global real estate investment firm. The position requires a fully qualified accountant to take ownership of statutory accounts, year-end processes, and audits, while also supporting management accounts. This is a full-time role based in Manchester, with a flexible working arrangement that includes remote work on Fridays. The contract duration is expected to be between 3 to 6 months.
Key Responsibilities:
- Take ownership of statutory accounts, year-end, audit, and consolidation.
- Support management accounts and month-end processes.
- Lead all financial and statutory reporting.
- Provide financial support to the wider business.
Key Skills:
- Fully qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA).
- Experience in large complex organisations.

Your new role
As an experienced Interim Senior Accountant, you will be working in an autonomous role that encompasses statutory and management accounting with duties including, but not limited to, taking ownership of statutory accounts, year-end, audit and consolidation, and supporting with management accounts and month-end.
Please note, this role is Full time and will be based Monday-Thursday in city centre office where you will be working alongside the wider team.
What you'll need to succeed
- You will be a fully qualified Accountant (ACA/CIMA/ACCA) with a background in large complex organisations.
- You will possess a technical skillset with extensive experience in statutory accounts and audit.
- You will have a proven history of leading all financial and statutory reporting and providing financial support to the wider business.
- Real estate or property background would be desirable but not essential.
- You will be self-motivated and adaptable as you will be reporting to a Line Manager based outside the UK.
