Financial Accountant

Financial Accountant (12-Month FTC) We are seeking a Financial Accountant to join a growing finance team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong technical accounting background who enjoys working in a collaborative environment while supporting business growth and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare month-end financial close processes, including technical accounts and bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and perform quality assurance of bordereaux.
• Support the expansion of European entities, helping establish and improve finance processes as the business grows.
• Identify opportunities to improve, streamline and automate existing finance processes and reporting.
• Provide support across the finance function and assist with ad hoc tasks as required.

Skills & Experience

• Previous experience in Insurance
• Part Qualified or time served
• Strong technical accounting background with experience in technical accounting and/or credit control.
• Experience preparing month-end accounts and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Knowledge of bordereaux preparation and technical finance processes is highly desirable.
• Advanced Excel skills with the ability to analyse financial data.
