Summary: The Financial Accountant role at LEGENDS & ASM GLOBAL involves supporting the European Region’s Group Accounting Team in Manchester. This position is crucial for ensuring accurate financial reporting across multiple European entities and involves collaboration with both regional and global finance operations. The role is a 3-month fixed-term contract, emphasizing a detail-oriented approach to financial management and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support the European Group Financial Controller and US Corporate team in managing year-end reporting, statutory accounts, and external audits across the European region.
• Act as a key liaison for external advisors on audit, tax compliance, and VAT matters, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
• Oversee monthly head office reporting, including budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated EBITDA analysis for senior leadership.
• Contribute to financial planning and control processes for new business ventures across Europe, including Italy and Portugal.
• Partner with senior finance leadership to improve financial processes, maintain compliance, and support treasury management activities.
• Provide ad hoc financial support to Group Finance and Operational Teams in line with business growth and strategic priorities.

Key Skills:

• ACCA qualified.
• Proven experience in preparing statutory and consolidated financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Demonstrated involvement in external audits and a strong understanding of financial compliance requirements.
