Summary: The role of Financial Accountant is a 6-month fixed-term contract with a leading global investment management firm, focusing on financial and regulatory reporting. The position requires a qualified accountant with experience in financial services and a strong understanding of IFRS. Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and review monthly regulatory capital and liquidity calculations, forecasts, and returns in accordance with MIFIDPRU requirements.
  • Track compliance with all prudential requirements and ensure all regulatory filing deadlines are met with absolute accuracy.
  • Support technical assessments, specifically focusing on new lease arrangements and ensuring modifications are correctly implemented within Workday.
  • Assist with the preparation of monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, and internal reporting processes.
  • Liaise with statutory auditors to ensure timely delivery of information and collaborate across the wider Finance function to streamline data flow.
  • Provide ad-hoc support for Financial Control and Reporting initiatives as required.

Key Skills:

  • ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified (or equivalent) with a strong grasp of IFRS.
  • Financial Services audit background.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Experience with general ledger systems (e.g., Workday) is a plus.
  • Proactive team player with the ability to follow complex issues through to conclusion.
  • High degree of risk awareness.

6 Month FTC | £70-80K | Successful Investment Management Firm

We are partnering with a leading global active investment management firm, to join their Financial/Regulatory Reporting team on a 6 month FTC. This will be a hands-on role, and suited to someone straight from practice who is keen to put their skills to use in industry.

Key Responsibilities
