Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the preparation of statutory accounts and year-end audit files
- Prepare supporting schedules, reconciliations, and documentation for auditors
- Respond to audit queries and manage information requests
- Support the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy of key balances
- Review and improve controls, documentation, and reporting accuracy
Key Skills:
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with strong audit or year-end experience
- Solid understanding of UK GAAP and statutory reporting requirements
- Experience supporting external audits in SME or mid-market environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under deadlines
