Summary: The role of Financial Accountant involves joining a high-performing team at an international bank in London for a 12-month contract. The position focuses on supporting monthly, quarterly, and statutory reporting and audit requirements, alongside various financial analyses and reconciliations. Key Responsibilities:

• Delivery of month-end, transaction analysis, and journal preparation.
• Assisting with the production of Group Reporting at relevant period closes.
• Maintaining the fixed asset register, including capitalisation, depreciation, and disposal of assets.
• Assisting with annual financial statement preparation and liaising with auditors.
• Preparation of VAT and Corporate Tax Return and associated reconciliations.
• Daily reconciliations of front and back office systems.
• Ad hoc project work as needed.

Key Skills:

• Relevant accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA).
• 2-5 years post-qualified experience.
• Technical knowledge of IAS/IFRS.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Immediately available or short notice.
