The Opportunity
We are partnering with a highly recognised consumer brand to recruit a Financial Accountant for an initial 12-month contract.
Reporting to the Senior Financial Accountant, you will take on a varied, hands-on role covering financial accounting, reconciliations, debt, lease accounting, audit and financial reporting.
Key Responsibilities
- Balance sheet reconciliations and resolving historic accounting discrepancies.
- Month-end and year-end accounting, including journals, accruals and prepayments.
- Debt reconciliations and lease accounting (IFRS 16).
- Supporting year-end audit and financial reporting.
- Improving accounting processes and financial controls.
About You
- CA, ACA or ACCA qualified or finalist.
- Practice-trained or currently working in a financial accounting role.
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and Excel skills.
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly, outgoing and proactive personality.
- Consumer, retail or hospitality experience advantageous but not essential.
Package & Benefits
- Up to £65,000 or day-rate equivalent through an umbrella company.
