Summary: The Financial Accountant role is a temporary position based in Leeds, requiring an experienced finance professional to support an international business services team for 3–6 months. The candidate will be responsible for month-end and year-end processes, balance sheet reconciliations, and preparation of management accounts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and control activities
  • Preparation of management accounts and statutory reporting packs
  • VAT returns and associated journals
  • Assisting with external audit requirements
  • Ad-hoc reporting and project support as needed

Key Skills:

  • Qualified / part-qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong technical accounting background with hands-on experience
  • Excellent Excel and systems skills
  • Able to hit the ground running in a fast-paced finance environment
  • Must be immediately available and able to commit for the full assignment

Financial Accountant – 3–6 Month Temp Assignment

Leeds (Hybrid – 2 days per week in office)

£200–£250 per day (depending on experience)

We are recruiting for a Financial Accountant to join an international business services team on a 3–6 month temporary basis . This role is ideal for an experienced finance professional who is confident stepping into a busy team environment and providing valuable cover during a key transition period.

The role will involve:

  • Supporting month-end and year-end close processes
  • Balance sheet reconciliations and control activities
  • Preparation of management accounts and statutory reporting packs
  • VAT returns and associated journals
  • Assisting with external audit requirements
  • Ad-hoc reporting and project support as needed

What we’re looking for:
